|
Since 1985 he resides in the metropolis of Sao Paulo, Brazil where he studied and obtained a bachelor's in Arts by the renowned Escola Panamericana de Arte e Design. His works are based on the study of the relationship between volume and its distribution to maintain aesthetics. Moreover, the artist presents novel forms of color and tone expression, as well as maintaining equilibrium in formal composition. He demonstrates that simple components can express happiness, sadness, and mainly the artist's own emotions at the time of creation. Hence, proportion is a vital element from which the artist initiates the composition of the expressive and structural aspects of color, where these primary colors transmit happiness as well as belligerence. The artist attempts to demonstrate that in contemporary art knowledge is more important than display, a concept known as rupturing the conventional way of perceive common objects; where these loose their importance in favor of the composition all together. Finally he abandons all figurative way of expression and makes an effort to lay bare through colors and within the model of abstraction the following concepts: rational and gestural abstraction. His work has been exhibited with frequency since 2004 in venues like Escola Panamericana de Arte e Design, Chapel Art Shows, Galeria Mali Villas-Boas, Café Journal and other events in Sao Paulo, as well as collective exhibitions in Uruguay. |
